THIRD-PARTY FRUIT PACKING IN KENYA

Care beyond
the orchard.

Already have the fruit? Third-party packing lets a grower, supplier or exporter discuss its preparation separately from its sale. Define the receiving checks, sorting, grading, packaging and dispatch information your customer needs.

Agree the scope before delivery, including material supply, acceptance criteria, rejected fruit and collection. Storage, specialist treatments and freight need separate confirmation.

  4. 04

    Packing & labeling

Match packaging, counts and labels to the order, with a clear link between packed fruit and its source lot.

  5. 05

    Checks & dispatch

Reconcile the packing records and agree holding conditions, collection timing and dispatch responsibilities.

QUALITY & TRACEABILITY

Good fruit deserves
a clear standard.

Agree fruit condition, maturity, size and packing requirements against your buyer’s brief. Connect source lots, packed quantities and dispatch records so the information can follow the fruit.

Product quality, food safety and plant-health documentation answer different questions. Request the relevant evidence for the actual programme; no unverified certification is claimed.

Two different starting points for your fruit programme

An international buyer usually begins with an intended market and a delivery need. A grower or exporter seeking packing begins with fruit already owned or allocated. Keeping those starting points visible makes the inquiry more useful: a fruit purchase needs a product offer, while a service request needs an agreed description of the fruit arriving and the work required.

When comparing Kenyan avocado suppliers, describe the variety, intended use, pack format, destination and desired condition on receipt. If you need packing, include the source lot, incoming condition, expected delivery period and the materials you intend to provide. A requirement can be discussed without assuming that every requested activity is available.

Explore the fruit before setting the order

Avocado varieties differ in shape, eating characteristics and packing needs. Use our avocado variety guide to prepare a specific brief, then review the export process. Growers can discuss lot condition, materials and collection through the avocado packing service.
